Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We currently ship to the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to other countries due to tax, customs, and import fees that may be charged upon delivery.

Many countries now apply import VAT, GST, and handling fees to even low-value items, which can cause unexpected costs and delivery delays for buyers. 

We also cannot ship to the EU due to GPSR regulations. 

As a small business, we are unable to collect and remit these taxes in advance, meaning customers would need to pay additional fees upon receiving their order.

To ensure a smooth shopping experience, we have decided to limit shipping to the UK, where such issues are minimal.

However, we occasionally list postcards on eBay and use eBay’s Global Shipping Program for international orders. View our shop here.

Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to postal delays. Any customs fees, duties, or taxes imposed by the destination country are the customer's responsibility.

We aim to dispatch within 1-3 days.

Returns & Refunds

  • We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return your item under the following conditions:

    Please contact us at fosterspostcards@outlook.com to request a return.
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be in original condition, and in the original packaging where applicable.

  • Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged or incorrect.

  • Once we receive the returned item, we will notify you and issue a refund to your original payment method. Refunds are processed via PayPal within 3–5 working days of receiving the returned item. PayPal processing times may vary, and refunds may take up to 30 days to appear, depending on the payment method and bank.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is damaged or incorrect.

Damaged Items


If your item arrives damaged, please contact us with
photos of the damage within 7 days of delivery. We will assess the issue and provide a resolution. As our postcards are vintage and one-of-a-kind, replacements are not available. In most cases, it is not necessary to return damaged items.

Returning Items

  • Items should be returned in a hard-backed envelope and the original sleeves to prevent damage in transit.

  • Please obtain proof of postage when returning your item.
